Vintage Report 2015

Vintage Report 2015

In general terms, the Winter was cooler and drier than the average of last years, followed by a very warm and dry Spring. The Summer started with lower temperatures, keeping the low levels of precipitation. With these conditions, the grape maturation has developed more quickly than usual, having the harvest of the white grapes in Murças started on the 17th of August, and on 7th of September for the red grapes, one week earlier than the last year.

The sanitary conditions of all the grapes were really good during all the harvest, witch associated with the good maturation that have been reached, allowed us to produce aromatic and concentrated wines, with a very good natural acidity, which contribute to the ageing potential.
