The product as starting point, where form, texture, colour and all its best characteristics are preserved, extracting the maximum flavour.


Set against Esporão’s Estate tranquil landscape, the restaurant has an outward focus, using local materials that define the architecture, favouring both authenticity and comfort. 

We advise booking with a minimum of 72h in advance.

We’re open for lunch, between 12.30am and 3.30pm. From tuesday to saturday.

Closed on the 23rd, 24th, 25th and 31st of December and 1st of January.

Restaurant Menus


With straightforward and tasty dishes to share. Made with seasonal ingredients, from local and national producers, closely following each of their cycles. Hence, the menu is always changing, with no prior notice.

Each week you can count with a dish inspired in the recipes of Esporão & A Comida Portuguesa a Gostar Dela Própria (portuguese gastronomic project).

Average price per each person meal, without wines (indicative): €45



You can also choose the Menu ‘Carte Blanche’, leaving the decisions entirely to the chef, that will define a tasting menu with 5 to 7 moments, accordingly to the visitors whishes.

The menu is available to groups up to 10 people. For larger groups, we ask for a minimum of 72h in advance reservation. You can also opt for other menus – please, send us an e-mail for further information and availability.

Our actual menu is thought by three chefs: chef Carlos Teixeira (at the right), part of the team for some years now, and chefs Bruno Caseiro and Filipa Gonçalves, that help us develop a seasonal menu where products from Herdade do Esporão, Alentejo and Portugal are highlighted, with modern confection and interpretation.
