It’s time to see how we produce Olive Oil at Herdade do Esporão

The Olive Oil Special Program has begun on November 1st at Herdade do Esporão. Book a tour of the Olive Mill and discover our Olive Oil production process. The program includes Tasting New Olive Oil and an offer of snacks.

The olive harvest has begun in Alentejo and, between 1 November and 15 December, you can visit the Olive Mill at Herdade do Esporão and see how our Olive Oil is produced.

Every morning, beginning at 10:30 am, a guide takes visitors along the olive oil’s course in order to follow the entire process that results in Esporão olive oils: Organic – Olival dos Arrifes, Selecção, Galega, Cordovil and DOP Norte Alentejano. While in the Olive Mill, visitors can taste new olive oil straight from the spout.

At the Herdade do Esporão Wine Bar, a selection of snacks is served, and visitors are invited to taste new olive oil and discover the different characteristics that result from the type of agriculture, terroir or olive varieties.
