Temperatures and rainfall were normal and within the average values for the last 10 years. The summer, although very dry, had fairly low average temperatures which resulted in ideal grape maturation conditions.

Petit Verdot

Vinification / Maturation

Controlled temperature fermentation (24ºC) in small stainless steel tanks.

12 months ageing in used french oak barrels, followed by 12 months bottle ageing prior to market release.

More Information

Wine made from Petit Verdot grapes grown on the “Andorinhos” Vineyard. Late season ripener with low yields. Produces wines which surprise for their strong aromatic personality and great potential for bottle ageing.
