‘Esporão No Porto’ opens at Rua do Almada, Nº. 501

Esporão opens its doors at Rua do Almada 501, in Porto, with a restaurant and shop, also offering wine, olive oil, and beer tasting. This is the first time that Esporão sets up an operation in a city and outside its production areas, making the Esporão experience more accessible and direct through its products and culture.

According to Catarina Santos, Esporão´s Marketing Director, “Being here at 501, Rua do Almada in Porto, reinforces the closeness of the Esporão universe to the daily routine in the city. Through our stories, our products, and traditional cuisine – focusing on the ingredients, regions and seasons – we want this space to provide relaxing moments to enjoy unique flavors among family and friends.”

In Porto, Esporão will have a local kitchen staff who, under the leadership and coordination of chef Carlos Teixeira, will execute a menu inspired on tradition, with the product, region, and season at the center. Uncomplicated and authentic dishes, specially conceived for Esporão No Porto, perfect to enjoy with Esporão wines, olive oils, and beers.

Aside from tastings, lunches and dinners, snacks can also be enjoyed in the afternoon, and workshops and special tastings will be scheduled every month, always inspired by Esporão’s culture and values.

The interior design of Esporão No Porto was created by Christian Haas.
