A special program for the harvest at Herdade do Esporão

From August 19th to September 27th the ‘Harvest Program’ at Herdade do Esporão suggests a trip to Alentejo for a special day spent enjoying the pace of the countryside and of the wineries. Harvesting, wine tasting and a lunch menu prepared especially for this occasion, are just some of the experiences included in the program.

After the welcome coffee served on the Restaurant’s veranda, there is a walk through the vineyards and participation in harvest. Before lunch, it’s time to visit the cellars and winery with a tasting of Talha wines and Esporão Colheita. The Herdade do Esporão harvest program ends with a special lunch at the restaurant. Chef Carlos Teixeira and his team prepare a menu where local seasonal products are the starting point for a sensory gastronomic experience using shape, texture, colour and flavour.
Herdade do Esporão ‘Harvest Program’ (19 August to 27 September)
10:00am – Welcome coffee

10:30am – Stroll through the vineyards and participation in grape-picking

(We recommend proper footwear and light clothing are worn, since this activity includes walking in fields)

12:00pm – Visit to the cellars and winery with tasting of four wines*: Esporão Talha White 2017, Esporão Colheita White 2018, Esporão Talha Red 2017 & Esporão Colheita Red 2017

1:30pm – Lunch at the restaurant with 5 Moments Menu paired with 4 Esporão wines
