A red wine produced with Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Franca grape varieties harvested at Quinta dos Murças. After temperature-controlled fermentation (24º-27º), around 20% of the blend is aged in new and used French and American oak for six months, with the wine being bottled in November, 2010.
Assobio 2009 boasts a deep ruby colour with hints of violet and red fruit and spice aromas. It has an elegant palate, thanks to its delicate tannins, and impressive notes of young fruit.
Assobio is a versatile wine and matches well with all types of food, ranging from the most sophisticated gastronomy to traditional cuisine.
Thanks to its character, it can also be drunk on its own, in the late afternoon or at night in a wine bar.
